Debadged Vehicles and Car Packs

A car pack is the easiest thing to get wrong, because none of the problems appear until the vehicle is in somebody's hands. What matters is in the export: the handling line, the carcols entry, the texture budget and whether the model was built for the version of the game you are running.

What separates a usable vehicle pack from a liability

A car pack is the easiest thing to get wrong on a FiveM server, because the problems do not surface until the vehicle is in somebody's hands. Models exported years ago against an old game build carry handling lines, wheel offsets and colour entries that were never brought forward. The car looks right on a showroom floor and then understeers into a wall, sits with its wheels through the tarmac, or drops a frame every time it comes into view.

Streaming budget is the real cost

Every vehicle you add is texture memory that has to be resident whenever it is nearby. Eighty cars at full 4K will run beautifully on your own machine and badly on a full server. What matters is whether the pack was authored with sensible texture sizes and LODs, not how many models are in it.

Lore-friendly or real-world

Both work. Mixing them carelessly does not. A city built on Vapids and Declasses reads as one place, and a single licensed supercar parked in the middle of it reads as a mod. Deciding which way your server leans before you buy is the cheapest decision you will make.

Installation

Vehicle packs install as ordinary stream resources — add, start, restart. Where a pack carries handling or vehicle metadata, it ships as separate files so tuning you have already done is not overwritten.
