The quiet hours decide whether players come back
Every server has peak time, and every server has the two hours where eleven people are online and nothing is scheduled. What players do then is what decides whether they log in tomorrow. A city with nothing to do off-peak empties out from the bottom.
Skill checks are infrastructure
The minigame that appears when someone picks a lock or hacks a terminal is not decoration. It is the thing that makes an action take a moment, carry a risk of failure, and feel different from pressing a key. A shared minigame resource means every script on your server uses the same visual language for that moment, rather than four different circles with four different keybinds.
Something to do alone, and something to do together
Racing, remote control cars and treasure hunting cover the two shapes: a player on their own who wants a loop with a reward at the end, and a group who want a reason to be in one place. Both are cheap to run and neither needs an admin to start.
Party pieces
The stakes games — the ones where somebody loses — are the scenes people tell each other about afterwards. They work best rare and they work best consensual, and both are config.
Fitting them in
These are light resources by design, since the whole point is that they run alongside everything else. All of them work on ESX, QBCore and Qbox, and the ones that hand out rewards read your existing economy rather than inventing a second one.
